Pure romance Party
PW HOST: Dakota and Kim
Friday, July 11 : 7:00 pm :
RSVP required, directions sent to those who are attending.
This won't be your typical "tupperware party" but in
the same fashion as the olden days when women got together to see the latest
tupperware invention that they couldn't live without, we're doing the same thing
only with adult toys. If you haven't experienced one of these parties yet, this
will be your chance for a night of laughter, fun, "Oh my god what does THAT do?"
kind of moments. Don't worry, no one gets to "demo" the products or see what you
buy but it is guaranteed to get you out of any box you might have thought you
were in! See more about Pure Romance Parties
here.

Aug. 28 - Sep 1, Thursday through Monday, Nantahala Gorge and River
In
the heart of the Nantahala National Forest, the
Nantahala River is a family friendly, nationally recognized river of
recreation. The most popular in the Southeast, it is one of the oldest rivers in
the world and gets its name from an Indian word meaning, “Land of the noonday
sun”. It is a Class II-III dam-controlled river pulling its water from the
bottom of Nantahala Lake. The water is released from a dam
about 15 miles upstream and pulled from approximately 250 feet in depth, and
released daily. Since the water does not see sunlight until its release, it
stays cool year around. The pristine, crystal-clear mountain water then runs its
course through the Nantahala River emptying into Fontana Lake.
About the
Nantahala River: Nestled in a steep gorge,
the Nantahala shimmers through its mild, but exciting rapids. The Nantahala
offers eight miles of practice on easy Class II rapids before splashing through
the exciting Class III whitewater of Nantahala Falls. This river is one of
America’s most popular whitewater runs, so expect to see other rafters, kayakers
and canoeists playing in the waves. It is a great river for your first white
water experience or your 100th ... it is fun, easy, constant and will leave you
laughing, a wee bit wet, and exhilerated!

PeacexPeace
Ongoing - New circles forming
The circle is the oldest form of people in
conversation and its chief purpose is to create a safe space by practicing deep
listening, inclusion, and consensus building. It is a non-hierarchal structure
that facilitates and empowers each person to feel supported and participation is
natural, not scary. We will be forming several Charleston area pxp circles which
will meet monthly.
The intention of the circle is to form a group of conscious
raising women who wish to make global changes in the world through local action
as well as national and international action.
If you are interested in joining this group please email me.
Once we have a minimum of 7 people interested for a circle we will begin posting
dates. Currently there is one group who has met for 2 years now on a monthly
basis.
